Veronika Katri, native Santorini artist, dancer, instructor, painter, and ceramist, comes from a powerful lineage of artists rooted in Greece. Inspired by Goddess Aphrodite, her offerings center ritual, inner-child play, and “flow like water”, evoking a dream-like essence.

Kiyomi Sales is a Hawaiʻi-born artist, dancer, instructor, designer, and founder of The Pole Garden. Her work weaves together movement, artistry, community, and feminine expression, in ways that invite women into deeper presence and wholeness.

Inspired by Goddess Nike for this seasonʻs pilgrimage, she carries a soft, luminous spirit of wonder and gratitude into her journey to Greece.

The sanctuaries weʻll be staying at:

Crete – Oct. 4-7

For the first 3 nights, we will begin our journey in the timeless coastal town of Rethymno, where weʻll gather for a welcome dinner by a private local chef, sink into golden sunset pool evenings, and luxuriate in a charming mini palace villa all to ourselves. Here, weʻll immerse in nature excursions throughout the lush land of Crete, historic town strolling, creative journaling under olive trees, and a pole workshop at a studio.

Santorini – oct. 7-9 (Showcase SANCTUARY)

For our final chapter, we arrive in Pyrgos Kallistis, meaning “tower of the most beautiful”, a hilltop village where vineyards meet winding stone paths and traditional island stillness.

We will gather in our luxury private villa sanctuary for the final ceremony showcase, where our journey comes to its culmination. In Santorini, weʻll enjoy the slower pace of autumn and authentic cuisine prepared by local hearts and hands.

Included with your payment:

  • 3 nights in a spacious private villa in Rethymno, Crete (private room)

  • 2 nights in a luxury hilltop villa sanctuary in Pyrgos Kallistis, Santorini (each guest has their own bed within a shared villa)

  • A curated ceremonial showcase, gathering, and celebration at our villa sanctuary overlooking the Aegean Sea horizon + professional photography capturing each artistʻs expression

  • 1x three-hour studio open level pole workshop in Crete led by Kiyomi

  • 1x clay ceramics workshop held in a cave art studio in Santorini led by Veronika

  • 1x creative journaling + manifestation workshop held in nature in Crete (2 hours)

  • A private chef welcome dinner at our villa in Crete

  • Traditional breakfast provided at both villas

  • A shared dinner at Veronikaʻs family tavern in Santorini

  • Open stage pole time and pole jam sessions within our Santorini villa sanctuary

  • Airport/port transfers upon arrival and departure, inter-island ferry travel, and transportation for included retreat experiences (flights not included)

  • Invitations to explore the landscapes, historic villages, beaches, and rhythms of Crete and Santorini at your own pace

  • Spacious free time for self-led discovery, creative exploration, rest, reflection, play, and presence

About the showcase ceremony:

This retreat experience is open to all levels. For those just beginning or years into your pole dance practice, whether you arrive with prepared choreography or choose to free-flow, this showcase ceremony is a sacred space to access the fullness of your creative freedom and honor your highest expression!

$900 deposit + 2 payments of $800 before retreat begins

After your application is received, we will reach out with next steps for confirming space and submitting your deposit.

Due to the intimate, curated structure of this retreat, all room and bed assignments are final once confirmed and are non-refundable.

Booking Notes:

Water & Wings will be officially confirmed once the minimum number of participants has been reached. Final confirmation will be communicated no later than September 1, 2026.

To support ease and transparency for all guests, we recommend purchasing refundable or flexible airfare whenever possible until the retreat is officially confirmed.

In the unlikely event that the minimum enrollment is not met, all retreat payments submitted directly to Water & Wings will be fully refunded.
